about

the phantom hive is the physical manifestation of memory crystalized into an obsidian obelisk. there is no record of its construction and no memory of its advent. some say whispers emanate from its core, others hear screams, and others hear singing. ever growing, it consumes all who wander into its shadow. given its nature some worship it as a deity, believing that it can grant a form of immortality.

"the end of this body begins the end of my death"

the hive's prayer:

blessed be this monument to memory

Grace, grant me the strength and peace to survive

Rage, raze this body and let it die

spirit speak, heart be weak

and may consumption be my end

in all their names

amen

lyrics

heaven raining ash breaking this body in half

hell spits out the sins of my father straight from its mouth

spirit speak to me grant me eyes to see

death a journey to start the old way to mend this feeble broken heart of mine

obelisk mountainous throne built on a canyon of bone

death where we both survive consumed by the phantom hive

i cant die

death my grace

life by a new name

death a journey to start

the new way to mend this feeble broken heart of mine

and i cant die i cant die and i wont die

and there i stood in the shade of their throne arms open wide awaiting its embrace my body is languid and listless worn raw from the rage thats driven it to selfishly survive can you hear them their gnashing teeth their whispers a faint echo of their corporal bodies arms draped in grace reach out to me and they pull me in i feel everything so wildly all at once their voices fill my head and i scream

i cant die ive been consumed by the hive

the hive consumes all of me

blessed be this monument to memory
grace grant me the strength and peace to survive
rage raze this body and let it die
spirit speak heart be weak
and may consumption be my end
in all their names i pray
amen
