hovering high hiding behind all of god's eyes heavenly gaze one quick glimpse and you take me away
breathless again as your serpentine body wraps around me i fade so subtly turning into little tiny drops of mercury
liquified i can only ever really melt into molds not of my own, but they make me happy
sinking deeper into my skin my heartbeat skips and fades into echoes of phrases in youthful tongues weak in the knees feeling my own spine fleeing me pooled on the ground a small little smile forms on my tiny liquid mouth

This is album is like nothing I've ever heard. I love how the dissonance turns into cohesion and then proceeds to flow between the two. The jazziness of it, the tenderness of it, the lightheartedness of the sound in places...it really astounds me. I wish I could listen to it for the first time again. coitosk

Certainly a controversial direction for the band, but this album ultimately rests as my favorite from TTNG. The technical mastery of their previous albums is still present here along with some very thought provoking and philosophical lyrics. I may not always agree with the lyrical messaging, but this is an album which rewards careful listening. Syobnaf

Fans of Polvo, take note! The excellent Kansas City band Abandoncy has the same fondness for corkscrewing riffs & melodies. It’s great! Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 28, 2022
